Gubernatorial Candidate Artur Davis in West AL
Artur Davis wants to be Alabama's next governor. This weekend, Davis took the opportunity to give his two cents about gambling in the state and the Governor Bob Riley's gaming task force.
Davis says the raids are a bad idea. He believes closing down casinos would put hundred, maybe even thousands of Alabamians out of work. Davis says the legality of electronic bingo should be decided by the voters. "There is a better way to resolve this. We need to have a ballot and once and for all let the people decide," Davis declared. "You can never go wrong with letting the people decide."
