Tuscaloosa Visit
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle will visit Tuscaloosa on Friday, according to the White House. Thursday, the President said the damage in tornado-stricken states in the Southeast is "nothing short of catastrophic." Speaking at the White House, Obama says the loss of life has been heartbreaking, especially in Alabama, the state hit hardest. At least 250 people have been killed in six states in the deadliest tornado outbreak in 40 years. Centreville Shooting
One man is dead after a shooting Friday morning in Centreville. It happened around 8:30 at the construction site for the new Bibb County Board of Education building. Centreville Police Chief Mike Nichols said there was an argument between two men. It escalated. One of the men shot the other in the head and killed him. ...Read more
